F&ST Families and Schools Together

We provide 'back-room' support for Mosaic Family Counselling. Families and Schools Together is a non-denominational program. A prevention-based program involving the whole family within the school setting, F&ST provides fun-filled activities that support parents, and strengthens the bonds between families, schools and the community.

Grocery Gift Card Sales
|
Gift cards are a pre-loaded debit card used to purchase groceries. We sell cards to be used at Zehrs stores ( and all related Loblaw outlets) as well as Sobey's. The Club receives a % of the card value from the grocer who sees this as a customer retention promotion. The buyer receives full value for their purchase! We all win!

Oktoberfest Citizenship Court
|
This Court is an officially sanctioned KW Oktoberfest event. It is held in conjunction with a local public school, who develop a curriculum around the event. It is operated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The purpose is to provide a venue and celebration for new Canadians to receive their citizenship papers. This has been organized by Kiwanis and the IODE (Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire) for over 20 years. THe next scheduled court is for 2012.

Wonders of Winter 'a festival of lights'
|
Wonders of Winter is a community service project sponsored by 11 service clubs providing a festival of light displays in the month of December through-out Waterloo Park.
